I have a been a resident here for a while now, this place has an amazing activity program, social workers and helpful staff. I have made friends with quite a few residents and that makes it feel like home. Have a nice day 😊

I really contemplated on writing a review because I do not have any experience nor have I ever been to or heard of this place until last week. However, I wanted to write because I wanted to share my very pleasant experience with a group of patients or residents from here. My boyfriend and I were having lunch in a small Thai restaurant in Springfield when this fairly large group (I believe about 8) came in. Every single one of them were smiling, chatty, happy and kind. As they sat around the table and throughout their meal the restaurant echoed with laughter, they were genuinely having a good time. (it was really nice to hear) The Lady and man that were with them were also so helpful to them with their menus and getting set up/whatever they needed. They were all engaged in conversations as they chit-chatted about culture and every day life.(I’m an eavesdropper/observer) In my experience, I haven’t seen this much where long term facilities take their residents out to be an active part of the community. You can tell that they all really encouraged, enjoyed and respected each other like close friends or family. As they were leaving I asked the Lady that was facilitating where they were from and she said Creswell Post Acute, I wish would have gotten her name, but I just wanted to give a big KUDOS to them both for doing such a fantastic job and I hope they see this to hear that. I am sure that meant everything to them.

I’m currently a resident here and right when it seems I’m being too harsh in my review, they do something else that’s terrible. I got 1-2 hours of sleep last night due to a new resident that was allowed to scream at the top of her lungs for more pain meds when she’s already been given them. But if anyone else screams out loud one time, the staff will come marching in the room & screaming in the residents face that they don’t allow screaming or any disrespect towards the staff. They allowed the woman that was screaming to scream the entire night and half of the day. I’m currently exhausted. To top it off, I wasn’t given any dinner. I’ve been starving all day. Nothing for lunch, either. This place is so shady. The nurses say they’ll bring you things, then you just don’t see them again for hours , if at all. The food portions are very small & made of the cheapest ingredients, so it’s bland tasting. The dishes aren’t cleaned very well.. It’s been nothing but chaos since I got here. . I need an environment that is drama free to fully heal in. This place is nothing like I thought, just the appearance of calm. It’s really not. It’s hectic , chaotic & beyond unprofessional. I’m checking out the moment I’m able to., They definitely pick & choose their favorites & cater to them. The rest of us are left on our own, skipped meals, delayed pain medicine for hours & just full, on neglect of all kinds. I have a wound vac that the alarm has been going off for 3 hours now,. They disconnected my call light because it’s broken & keeps going off. God forbid I have a real emergency. Update: I was in the hospital for sepsis in my cellulitis. Sent home & am supposed to be getting breakthrough pain meds & my main pain medicine every 4 hours. I was told no order for breakthrough pain medicine even though the Doc assured me she sent in the order, knowing they already have a history where they wouldn’t increase the dose for 2 weeks even though the Doc had authorized it. So I’m suffering with no breakthrough relief & my last dose of my 4 hour pain medicine was at 11:30. I’m supposed to be able to get my next one at 3:15 am. Nope. Not until 4:15 am they said. I’m here crying & am in alot of pain. I was denied a shower today & no Foley care. They’ve made me get a bladder infection from not cleaning my foley catheter in any capacity. Now I’m feeling intense signs of a kidney infection. I’m awaiting X-ray results to see if I do have one. I’m here being denied pain control, showers & basic nursing care. I was told by a hospital official at Riverbend to get ahold of proper channels to report this blatant neglect & illegal methods . I’m in a lot of pain. I can’t sleep my pain is too unbearable. It is impossible to heal here. I believe they need to be investigated & held accountable .

After our first experience with a family member needing care, we have always made sure to request Creswell Post Acute. The atmosphere when you walk in is a very comfortable and welcoming setting, which is important when you have a loved one living there for an extended time. I’ve spent a lot of time there, having a few family members needing care, and I can assure that they are attentive, qualified, and caring. I absolutely adore one particular CNA, Sam. While I put full trust and confidence in every staff member, she really stood out to me as especially kind-hearted and attuned. The activities director works very hard to provide fun entertainment and activities for the residents, including a little salon where they can make appointments for their hair. It’s a small community inside there and I appreciate everything about them.

Thank you to the entire staff at creswell post acute. I am in a reconstruction state due to sepsis and the entire staff has been responsive, extremely professional, warm, caring, and with a complete individualized support system for each patient. I have quite a journey ahead of me, and knowing that this facility is available, is a Godsend.

To put it short, the building puts on a very good face to what actually happens inside. Breaks my heart to have to do this but I’ve watched it go down for long enough. Staff gives cold shoulder, management degrades and picks their favorites, and their staff doesn’t fulfill the TRUE role of their licensing and morals. 0 person centered care, 0 completion to improve thrives and quality of lives, and absolutely contributes to the stigma and rumors of skilled nursing. Please consider your alternatives and ALWAYS do your research before you place your loved ones ANYWHERE. I hope this building improves the quality it serves and comes to a point where they eventually DO hold the service and façade they put on to everything. Holds a lot of potential but doesn’t have the right motives or morals to follow through.

I have waited for 4 months to post a message about my Mom that lived at Creswell Post Acute from age 95 to 99. She passed in July 2005. From the bottom of my heart I thank all the amazing, kind, caring staff there. I live 4 blocks away and was there every day or every other day. The staff became our second family! They took such good care ofy Mom and all the residents. I was there so much I miss them terribly just like I miss my mom. All the staff I don’t want to leave anyone out they were excellent. My Mom was so happy there and my family and I were too. For everything you did I will be ever so grateful. ❤️🌹

I serve more than 15 senior communities a month as an entertainer, and I have been doing shows 5 years at Creswell Post Acute. Activity Director, Danielle has been super. She is kind, warm-hearted, a great communicator, very organized, and works diligently to encourage the residents to attend—and participate in my interactive shows. Our shared goal is to brighten their day! Timothy Patrick

When my mom went into hospice care, she chose to go to Creswell Post Acute to get the hands on care that she needed. The staff were all absolutely amazing to my and with my mom for the little time that she was there before passing, they were very attentive to her needs and treated her and our entire family with care and compassion while she spent her final days transitioning. They treated all of us as if we were their own family. I highly recommend Creswell Post Acute, and I will be forever grateful for the care and love that they gave to my mom in her final days.

So excited to be part of the changes happening here everyday. We are implementing a new and innovative Hospice partnership, adding more outings and entertainers to our robust activities schedule, and polishing up our beautiful patio for outdoor dining opportunities during our lovely Oregon summer. We are also going to be involved in a lot of community activities, starting with the Hell on Hooves Rodeo right here in Creswell, July 4th. Stop by our booth and say hello!!!

The nurses and CNAs are compassionate and on top of their jobs caring for the residents. My Grandma was there for a few years and took amazing care of her. I got to personally see the staff in action. My grandma passed there and they were so loving not only towards her but our family as they knew what we were going through. I’m very thankful for the staff and how hard they work to keep the residents taken care of and still feel loved.
